That's right, we got us a Grant Reynolds book! Five collected comics from 2003-2005: Lost & Found, Runner in the Night, Hairy Who, Jigsaw Ocean, and Deep-Sea Trouble. It's a great collection of meditative, introspective, beautiful and intricate drawings. If you're familiar with Grant's work, you know it's a must-have. If you're not, this book is a great place to start. Also, stay tuned, we'll have a brand new never-before-collected Grant Reynolds title within the next few weeks!
Here are the designs for the Sucker Punch and Shortpants Press t-shirts. They'll be in the shop by the end of the month and of course we'll have them at the ChicagoCon (in limited supply). More info later with the official announcement.
UPDATE! Here are the color corrected, final designs for the Sucker Punch and Shortpants Press t-shirts. They were handed off to the printer today and with a little luck and some elbow grease they'll be in the shop next week. Just in time for next year's Mother's Day.
Also, since they've mentioned it, I guess it's safe to say I'll have a piece in an upcoming beastiary to be published by Fantagraphics. Here's a mention of my stuff along with some great artists you might not know.
The first printed book from Hugh & Bot's Drew Crowley! This is the first of a six-part series documenting the events that transpire in a small zoological research center nestled in the wilds of Ecuador. Dr. Oliver Way and Luis Espinoza are in search of the ever-elusive Gigante Hippo! Will they be able to find it with the help of their new assistant Pedro Castilla? Or will Hector Empenada, the site’s financial director, stop them from ever getting into the jungle?
